A rebbe in Boro Park who had been forced from the Munkatch Chassidic School over 20 years ago due to improprieties with his students was arrested last week for recent allegations of further molestations. He spent over 2 days in the city lock-up until bail of 100,000 was raised. He has been a travel agent for the last few years. His name is Rabbi Lebovitch, a brother of a well known rabbi in Monsey New York. This incident proves that the Orthodox rabinnates do NOT have a handle on the situation and even the questionable tactic of exporting offenders overseas has failed, since this one was never sent packing. This offender has received very little coverage on UOJ and other media sources as this is being kept by the community very close to the jock-strap for the overused reasons of chilul hashem and loshon hora. Only hashem's angles UOJ and V. Polin can save us now!
